Yesterday was quite an eventful day. Working has been fun these few days because of my funny managers and colleagues. Mabel came all the way to eat wedges and her Azuki coffee on her off day so I stayed and accompanied her. I think the wedges and the fried food i'd eaten cause me an extremely big pimple. So, i'm not going for the interview again! Anyway, I have gained some weight i believe, have been gorging all the so called expired cakes every two or three days. The cheesecake is the best. oishi des ne. I'm going to learn bar soon!
Yesterday was Kat's birthday as well, had a great time meeting up old friends and catching up with one another. Stayed around till about midnight though i actually told my clique i'll meet up with them at 11 plus. In the end i had to cab down to manda's house after they coerced me to join them. lol, joking, but i really wanted to meet them as well just that it cost me 3 hours of my pay. I think I half slept through the movie and we slept on the couch after that. Wonder when we'll meet up again, though i think its next friday. =s





I'm seriously beginning to feel that my job isnt that great after all. Long hours and not to mention the meagre salary i'm getting. Maybe i won't complain if the pay is higher, but my feet and wrists are aching from the 10 hours of standing and heavy trays I have to carry to and fro. New year was really bad, customers kept streaming in and no break in between, damn shag. Maybe my friends and my cousins were right, study so much and be a waitress? Its a no brainer job.. right, its manual labour. What keeps me going is meeting all the different customers and the joy of serving, but I seriously think my body can't take it and the erratic working hours are wrecking my social life i tell you. Anyway its just some waitressing experience that i want to gain. I'm going to find an office job after 3 months. I just miss those schooling days.. and i need a short break now. hai.




Its CNY, but there isnt any festive mood around.. I think this is the worse new year ever. At least there would be some sort of celebrations in school but now, i'm only off from work like on first day of CNY?! Its okay, not that i mind anyway..
Reunion dinner was good with lots of food and a bit of gambling and wine.. Its good to see all my cousins and relatives.. Then, went to Chinatown with flor, jh and cx. Damn crowded can, at the junctions especially. People are just pushing one another but i must say it made me quite high, as in all the excitement and stuff la.. though i got a bit irritated at times and started to shout randomly lol. The best part was of course fireworks. I love fireworks can. Thank goodness we were at the right place at the right time to catch the fireworks . im so tired now..its like 3.20am zZz.




Nothing beats better than working. Stood for ten hours today but i'm really happy, at least there's this joy of serving people and satisfaction involved especially when someone commended on my service! Haha. Ate some cakes today or else they would be thrown, quite nice. I saw lots of people at the airport today as well.. so that added to my happiness. Feeling shag now but still good.. my manager made me a cup of latte, looked really nice with the layers of coffee and milk. Everyday i meet new people, new staff, at departure and arrival, learn new things, really fulfilling. At least its not like a desk bound job, which is rather boring and individualistic somehow. Though i agree the pay is not exactly appealing, its the experience that counts anyway. I hope they'd teach me some barista skills soon, i wanna make coffee!
My arms are still aching from yesterday waitressing job. That job is quite good money but its only occasionally when there're parties. Met some nice people as well, but got scolded by boss for some mistakes made. Its a good learning point though.
